As I wrote earlier today in this post, Strange dream I touched on the fact that I tend to overthink things, in fact I’m a full blown professional at it. And then, this post appears from the team at Anxiety unplugged project, and it has me thinking about it even more. But on a more positive level.
Not saying I’m a great mind at all, but some times it’s nice to blow smoke up your own tubes 😂

You think before you act. I act before I think. But in the end, life surprises both of us.
You stand at the edge of a river, measuring the depth, calculating the speed, wondering if it’s safe to cross. I just jump in, hoping I’ll figure out how to swim on the way. Sometimes, you stand too long and miss the boat. Sometimes, I jump into a whirlpool and regret everything.
Maybe thinking too much is like carrying an umbrella on a sunny day, always expecting rain. And acting too fast is like running barefoot in the dark, hoping there are no sharp stones. Different roads, same confusion. Maybe life isn’t about choosing the right way—just learning to laugh when we trip.
